I have been asking my friends and family to give me any pictures that they have of cakes out there, and still have not received any!! But have no fear, I have found some of my first cakes and will be posting more of them as I find them!
This first one was made for my mother's Birthday! I think this is my second buttercream cake, it was a spice cake, and the most frustrating cake I think I ever did. I was just getting the hang of piping and battling the icing every step... (please excuse the refrigerator shot!)
This second cake is one that I made for my cousin Lisa's baby shower, and it was my first buttercream cake, I thing I was a little unsure of what to do but in the end it worked out. I made three cakes, one larger and two smaller ones. The little baskets are my favorite!
I will keep looking for more pictures. I think it is fun to look at this and see just how far my cake skills have come!
